The project:


As part of an extensive masterplan, we are seeking to recruit personnel for the PMC team involved in a prestigious project in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Western Region. This is a unique opportunity that occurs once in a generation, allowing you to collaborate with some of the leading experts in engineering and construction. Applicants must demonstrate experience in major construction projects.

  • You will create and design effective implementations of PMO and project controls frameworks and strategies on assigned commissions.

  • You will be developing your expertise in PMO and project controls, with a growing internal and external network (e.g., clients, contractors, consultancies and other stakeholders).


  • Overseeing the day-to-day operation of project control management.


  • Reporting functionally to the project controls department.


  • Adhering to the project controls management processes.


  • Managing and monitoring budgets, costs, planning/scheduling, management/reporting of changes and providing oversight, guidance, direction and escalation.


  • Following the process with the stage gate schedule.


  • Ensuring that the project provides input to monthly dashboards.


  • Preparing benefits map and benefits realisation for the project.


  • Reviewing, validating and consolidating project monthly dashboards and reports, and raising any issues and concerns.


  • Issuing project dashboards and reports to concerned internal and external stakeholders.

  • You will manage project teams in the administration of the PMO and project controls process, particularly with respect to the cost, schedule, change, risk and reporting.


  • You will support senior PMO stakeholders in influencing long term development of strategy for a function or business unit (BU), creating a sustainable business future.

  • You will support the hub PMO and project controls director with resourcing and recruitment for the assigned commission.


You’ll need to have: 


  • A relevant degree qualification.


  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.


You’ll also have: 


  • Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.


  • Experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the consultancy sector.


  • Property or infrastructure project management expertise.


  • Commercial and financial acumen.


  • Experience of working on projects within large, diverse teams.


  • Experience of developing and forming relationships with other stakeholders within projects.


  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
