Key Responsibilities:
Manage, oversee and support the project execution of UPT, STS backlog projects delivered to MENA destination customers.
Manage Backlog projects in accordance with operating guidelines, standards, and work procedures; be responsible for managing scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
Manage customer expectations and project processes end-to-end from KOM, BEDQ (Basis of Engineering and Design Questionnaire), execution and implementation through to final SAT and As-Built documentation delivery, control Change Management and Variation Orders.
Maintain and manage local resource availability and capability by working closely with local Engineering Management, Discipline Engineering and Support Function resources.
Work closely with Procurement to review and screen potential suppliers as partners for project subcontracting and external equipment and material partners and purchases.
Work with analysts on SAP Project Systems where necessary, ensuring reporting is executed in a timely manner.
Work together with Sales and Sales Support to support Orders and business growth.
Review order booking and acceptance, export compliance, requisitioning, logistics, GR, invoicing, forecasting are all performed according to standard procedures and planned timelines
Support contract reviews, price reviews, spec reviews, bid preparations, invoicing, billing milestones.
Support sales at events, customer meetings and seminars where necessary
Undertake Training as assigned.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
Min. Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
10 years’ project management experience in gas processing, refining and petrochemical industries
PMP qualification
Strong oral and written communications skills in English.
Ability to manage budget, scope, manage change and conflict, and coordinate project deliverables under tight deadlines with required quality
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Preferably experienced in modular engineering and construction of oil & gas plant facilities
Familiar with basic design and engineering concepts for Refining, Petrochemical and Gas Processing projects in the Oil & Gas Industry
Excellent interpersonal skills and customer management skills
Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
Demonstration on a daily basis of a high level of personal integrity
