The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.


Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.


The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.


Job Purpose

Monitoring projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinating resources, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Deliver high-quality projects that meet client specifications and enhance overall operational efficiency.




Key Accountability Areas
  • Establishing and Supporting the PMO Framework:


Contribute to the development and refinement of PMO frameworks, standards, and methodologies, ensuring they align with both organizational objectives and technical requirements. Provide feedback and suggest improvements based on project outcomes and performance data.


  • Project Governance and Oversight:


Ensure that technical teams adhere to governance processes and standards set by the PMO. Provide expert guidance to project managers and technical teams on complex delivery challenges and ensure alignment with the PMO’s methodologies.


  • Strategic Alignment:


Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure that project portfolios align with both technical and organizational goals. Help prioritize technical aspects of projects to align with business needs and resource availability.


  • Resource Management:


Assist in optimizing the allocation of technical resources across multiple projects, ensuring teams have the necessary skills and tools to succeed. Work with resource managers to balance resource capacity and demand.


  • Risk Management and Mitigation:


Lead technical risk identification and assessments for projects, ensuring that mitigation strategies are developed and implemented. Monitor risks throughout project execution, escalating any critical risks as needed.


  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:


Develop key performance metrics and track project health, technical progress, and compliance with timelines and budgets. Provide detailed technical reports and updates for stakeholders and management.


  • Continuous Improvement:


Identify opportunities for process improvements within the PMO, specifically related to technical execution. Champion best practices, mentoring junior engineers and ensuring knowledge sharing within the team.


  • Stakeholder Communication:


Serve as a key point of contact for technical stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, risks, and challenges. Ensure effective communication between technical teams, management, and clients.


  • Project Methodology and Tools:


Ensure the consistent application of project management methodologies and tools within the technical team. Assist in the training and onboarding of engineers on PMO processes and project management tools.

  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

  • Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:


  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:


  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:


  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.


Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Any relevant field
