ROLES AND RESPONIBILITIES
Program Planning
- Assist the program managers in developing their program roadmaps.
- Assist the project managers in developing their project schedules.
- Support the development of the overall Program Management & Delivery integrated master schedule being fed by all relevant projects and programs.
- Lead the overall management of the integrated master schedule by management of changes that may affect the overall department’s scope, cost, and time.
- Identify key potential risks and limitations across all programs and projects and develop mitigation measures
- Create the baseline in coordination with the Projects Manager for progress measurement from a timeline perspective.
- Support in developing a robust reporting structure for schedule monitoring, resource allocation, and control.
- Observe and verify the periodic progress of contractors through progress reporting and raise red flags on project schedule delays, where needed.
- Oversee regular meetings with the project teams, review submitted claims that affect project schedules, and make recommendations.
- Evaluate the impact of change order requests and variation orders received from the Project Manager on the existing Projects plans and schedule, make necessary adjustments, and communicate them to the relevant stakeholders.
- Present information related to program and project scheduling and timelines in internal program/ project meetings.
- Work in close collaboration with the Programs Manager/ Projects Manager team to drive consistency of the project scheduling approach to facilitate accuracy in project execution and reporting.
- Support the development of the overall department manpower plan.
- Develop the annual operating plan and coordinate with all stakeholders to include the department initiatives, programs, and projects with all related information, budget, manpower, and procurement requirements.
Skills
Knowledge & Experience 6 to 8 years of relevant experience
Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration or IT or equivalent is required. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferable.
