Senior O&M System Infrastructure EngineerJob Description Align with Business Goals Familiarize with the company's mission, vision, and strategic objectives. Work closely with other departments. Clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Forecast future network needs and plan for capacity expansion Design and implement new infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, and operating systems with required applications. Plan and execute infrastructure and operating systems upgrades and migrations. Ensure that infrastructure solutions align with organizational goals and requirements. Manage and maintain operating systems server, storage, and applications. Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software. Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization. Provide technical support to end-users for infrastructure-related issues. Troubleshoot hardware and software problems. Document and share knowledge with the support team. Experienced in installing, managing, and maintaining Server Infrastructure" and " Cloud Platform & Infrastructure". Infrastructure support often requires 24/7 coverage, so shift work may be necessary. On-Call Responsibilities: Being on call to respond to urgent infrastructure issues outside of regular working hours may be required. Anticipate future needs and develop a roadmap for modernization. Prioritize activities Monitor and respond promptly to incidents. Optimize Performance Track metrics. Fine-tuning Keep abreast of the latest technologies Understanding Level Designs Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation on solution configurations and operational procedures. Prepare reports on incidents, system performance, and solution effectiveness with a Root cause analysis. Staying up to date with the latest technologies. Excellent presentation skills.Technical Skills- System Administration experience includes but is not limited to (Windows, Linux system administration, SCCM, DHCP, VMWARE, MS Exchange, MS Azure, DNS, 365, Ali Baba cloud, Oracle Cloud, backup administration Virtualization system, Active Directory). - Knowledge of server administration and troubleshooting VMware ESXI. - Knowledge of Cloud AWS and Azure as administrator. - Knowledge of network protocols and network infrastructure. - Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.- Experience with server and storage technologies, such as virtualization and cloud computing, Domains, Active Directory, Cloud solutions and ITSM tools. - Knowledge of IT best practices and tools. - Strong troubleshooting. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Microsoft Azure, MCSA) are preferred .- Knowledge of databases, VM backups, Data Domain, Tape Libraries.
