We are looking to recruit for the position of Senior Marketing Associate/Marketing Manager based in Riyadh. This position will be part of the CEEMEA Marketing team and work closely with the Head of CEEMEA Marketing and the rest of the team to partner with the local and regional stakeholders to:


  • Build our brand and support the growth of our newly launched office in Saudi Arabia.


  • Leverage new opportunities in the Middle East asset management industry while providing support to our existing business in the region.


The position will report to the Head of CEEMEA Marketing and be a dedicated member of the CEEMEA Marketing team. This individual will also need to liaise effectively with regional Sales teams, Creative Services, Creative Studio, the Digital Programs team, other regional marketing teams including the Campaigns and Social teams, Compliance, and others on firm and country specific efforts, as necessary. The key to success in this position will be an ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, think outside the box, navigate through complex business situations, act nimbly to take advantage of emerging business opportunities and re-focus quickly as business needs evolve.


What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?


  • BRAND: Support the development and execution of an overall brand and promotional strategy to support business goals and priorities for the Middle East region with primary focus on the Saudi Arabia market.


  • CAMPAIGNS: Work with both internal teams and external partners to help develop and implement marketing campaigns and programs based on client and market insights in line with regional objectives and priorities.


  • EVENTS: Help develop, execute and manage local events, roadshows, and sponsorships in collaboration with local and regional stakeholders and other team members.


  • COLLATERALS: Create, deploy and maintain global and regional marketing content and collaterals (including English and Arabic) for Saudi Arabia and other regional markets while securing all necessary approvals including Product, Legal, Compliance, Sales and others as may be required.


  • ANALYTICS: Build, track and improve marketing KPIs that measure the success of our campaigns and activities, helping produce regular reporting in partnership with other team members.


  • OPERATIONS: Work with other team members on all marketing operations such as vendor management, invoicing, websites, email marketing, and other projects, as necessary.


What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?


Experience & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably a Masters) in mass communication or marketing.


  • 7-10 years in a marketing role, preferably in asset management or financial services.


  • Seniority of the job title would be dependent on years of relevant experience


  • Demonstrated success in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns.


  • Knowledge of regulatory and industry rules, guidelines, and standards.


  • Strong understanding of the asset management ecosystem within the Middle East particularly in Saudi Arabia and UAE.


  • Fluency in English and Arabic is critical for this position
