Eram Talent is currently seeking a highly qualified Senior Manager - Public Health & Firefighting for an exciting opportunity in Saudi Arabia. This role is essential in ensuring the integration of public health and firefighting strategies across various projects, ensuring the health and safety of communities.
As the Senior Manager, you will lead initiatives that focus on public health in the context of firefighting and emergency response. Your expertise will help guide teams in developing effective strategies that address potential risks, promote community health, and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers to address technical queries regarding interpretation and use of the client's public health and fire protection engineering codes and standards, as well as those applicable within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Review design packages to ensure compliance with the client’s procedures as well as local and international engineering codes and standards, including SBC 701, 801, NFPA and the High Commission for Industrial Security (HCIS).
- Undertake quality assurance and quality checking (QA/QC) of all work, procedures, comment resolution sheets and responses produced within the public health and fire protection department prior to issuing.
- Plan, oversee, and manage public health and fire protection engineering tasks as instructed by/in coordination with the management.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of current engineering codes and standards and make available within internal portals.
- Review applications for deviations from the client's Plan of Work and advise sectors and regions on submitting requests for approval.
- Review and continually update the client's procedures, guidelines, and manuals based on operational requirements and the technical needs and strategies of departments and sectors, in accordance with any updated codes and standards.
- Interact with local and international code authorities, as well as institutions such as IBC, SBC, ASHRAE, IPC, NFPA and HCIS.
- Assist with writing scope of work documents and technical criteria for the engagement of specialist technical companies.
- Perform technical evaluations and commercial evaluations of technical services contracts.
- Make presentations to various sectors and departments related to public health and fire protection.
- Lead and participate in technical workshops for employees.
- Support and mentor team members to effectively improve team performance.
