Overview
MBC is looking for highly motivated and experience individual to lead distribution in commercial and hospitality segment. Individual is expected set-up and manage network of partners across different territories in MENA and consistently drive significant revenue growth.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Accountable to develop effective go-to-market sales strategies by building lasting, collaborative relationships and partnerships.
- Develop and lead a robust sales organization by setting-up direct sales and distribution teams.
- Expand geographical footprint into new markets and drive the sales team to consistently surpass their targets.
- Create bundling strategies as appropriate to increase sales, drive customer experience, optimize price and increase ease of sale.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide input into future offer planning, marketing/training materials & delivery/ops planning.
- Analyze performance to understand key performance drivers and gaps including, but not limited to, product, content, competitiveness, pricing, merchandizing, promotions, training, marketing, sales programs and operations.
- Perform a strategic review of partners’ network model and develop a long-term strategic plan for the partners channel and their expected contribution to overall business.
- Work closely with the business planning & finance teams to continuously optimize partners’ commission structure and their sales targets.
- Work with Legal, Anti-piracy and Government relations teams to coordinate measures to ensure compliance on ground.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Commercial / B2B Sales Programs with understanding of sales behaviors and processes.
- Candidates with cross-functional exposure to Pay-TV, telecoms and consumer electronic will be given a preference.
- Strong sales management experience managing, mentoring, and motivating a remote sales team to drive revenues.
- Track record of consistently exceeding sales goals, individually and as a manager of a team
- Strong sales prospecting, negotiating, and closing skill set.
- Excellent communication skills - in both written and oral presentation - influencing and relationship building skills.
- Ability to influence senior leaders (both within government and enterprise level) and peers to get things done.
- Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Arabic language proficiency is preferred.
- GCC experience is a must.
- Post Graduate degree in business management is an advantage.
