Job Overview:
The Senior IT Cloud Infrastructure professional will be responsible for designing, implementing,
and managing cloud-based solutions that support the organization's IT strategy. This role
involves overseeing cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability,
while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align cloud initiatives with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions to support
business applications and services.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define cloud architecture and
infrastructure requirements.
Monitor cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
Develop and implement cloud governance policies and best practices to manage cost,
compliance, and resource utilization.
Evaluate and recommend cloud service providers, tools, and technologies to enhance
operational efficiency.
Automate cloud infrastructure deployments and configurations using Infrastructure tools
and scripts.
Provide technical guidance and support to development and operations teams in cloud-
related initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and
service disruption.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to cloud computing
and infrastructure.
Prepare and present reports on cloud performance, usage, and cost management to
senior management.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years focused on
cloud computing and architecture.
Skills & Attributes:
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong understanding of networking, security, and storage solutions in cloud
environments.
Proficiency in automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Terraform).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in
cross-functional teams.
Languages:
Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
