Job Description
The Senior HR Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing HR operations in Saudi Arabia while reporting directly to the HR Business Partner (HR-BP) in Kuwait. This role involves handling daily HR functions, ensuring compliance with Saudi labor laws.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily HR operations in Saudi Arabia, including employee inquiries, issue resolution, and policy enforcement.
- Implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with Saudi labor laws. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in local labor laws and regulations.
- Manage employee benefits administration, including insurance, leave, and other HR-related benefits.
- Coordinate with payroll and benefits team to report any issues to clarify to the employee
- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviewing.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and compliance with company policies. Address and resolve employee grievances and disciplinary issues in accordance with company policies and local labor laws.
- Foster a positive work environment and support employee engagement initiatives.
- Prepare and submit regular HR reports to the HR Business Partner in Kuwait, including metrics on payroll, recruitment, employee turnover, and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Identify training needs and coordinate with external providers to deliver relevant training programs.
- Support employee development initiatives and performance management processes.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes and documentation to ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws and company policies.
- Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits as needed.
- Collaborate with the HR team in Kuwait to ensure alignment of HR strategies and practices across regions.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to address HR-related questions and concerns.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on recruitment and employee relations.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Bilingual (Preferably Saudi Nationals)
