Job Description

The Senior HR Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing HR operations in Saudi Arabia while reporting directly to the HR Business Partner (HR-BP) in Kuwait. This role involves handling daily HR functions, ensuring compliance with Saudi labor laws.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily HR operations in Saudi Arabia, including employee inquiries, issue resolution, and policy enforcement.
  • Implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with Saudi labor laws. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in local labor laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee benefits administration, including insurance, leave, and other HR-related benefits.
  • Coordinate with payroll and benefits team to report any issues to clarify to the employee
  • Support recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviewing.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and compliance with company policies. Address and resolve employee grievances and disciplinary issues in accordance with company policies and local labor laws.
  • Foster a positive work environment and support employee engagement initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit regular HR reports to the HR Business Partner in Kuwait, including metrics on payroll, recruitment, employee turnover, and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate with external providers to deliver relevant training programs.
  • Support employee development initiatives and performance management processes.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes and documentation to ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws and company policies.
  • Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits as needed.
  • Collaborate with the HR team in Kuwait to ensure alignment of HR strategies and practices across regions.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to address HR-related questions and concerns.
