Job Title: Senior Finance Manager
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Reports to: CFO or CEO
Working Hours: 5 days a week, 8 hours per day
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of large-scale construction projects in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managerial finance roles within the construction sector in GCC or KSA, with a strong background in financial planning, budgeting, cost control, reporting, forecasting, risk management, and accounting. The role will ensure compliance with KSA financial regulations and drive strategic financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Budgeting: Develop and manage financial plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and construction project budgets.
- Cost Control & Analysis: Oversee cost management strategies to optimize profitability while ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Financial Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to the executive team.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to financial policies.
- Compliance & Taxation: Ensure compliance with KSA finance laws, VAT, Zakat, and other tax regulations, as well as best practices in construction finance.
- ERP & Financial Systems: Utilize Microsoft Dynamics ERP and other financial tools for accurate and streamlined financial management.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external auditors, financial institutions, suppliers, and project teams.
- Budget Oversight: Manage large-scale project budgets (minimum SAR 100 million), ensuring financial efficiency across multiple departments.
- Process Improvement: Implement and refine financial processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role within the construction industry.
- Industry Expertise: Strong background in general contracting or large subcontracting, preferably with modern financial systems or experience in an international construction company.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics ERP is an advantage.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of KSA finance regulations, construction accounting, and reporting standards.
- Language: Must be proficient in English. Arabic is a plus.
- Location Preference: KSA-based candidates are preferred, with strong experience in the KSA construction market and local finance and tax regulations.
