Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Riyadh region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry, particularly in Gulf countries. This role involves overseeing electrical installations on-site, ensuring compliance with international standards, and managing project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
1-Project Management:
- Lead and manage electrical engineering tasks on site from conception to completion in accordance with project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
2-Design & Installation Oversight:
- Review electrical designs and specifications; provide input for modifications and improvements.
- Oversee the installation of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarms, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
3-Quality Assurance:
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure the highest quality of electrical installations.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards throughout all phases of construction.
4-Team Leadership:
- Supervise, mentor, and guide junior engineers and technicians, providing technical support and training as needed.
- Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and innovation.
5-Client Liaison:
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate communication and resolve any project-related issues.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and timelines.
6-Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, technical specifications, and compliance records.
- Ensure proper documentation of changes and deviations from the project plan.
7-Problem Solving:
- Identify potential problems and risks in electrical systems and develop proactive solutions.
- Handle any troubleshooting or unforeseen issues that arise during the installation process.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the electrical engineering field, specifically in the construction sector within the Gulf countries.
- Certifications: PMP is a Plus
- Technical Skills: Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP), knowledge of local and international electrical codes and standards.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing a team; ability to motivate staff and handle conflicts effectively.
