In this role, you will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans for various construction projects. As a Senior Draftsman, you will also mentor and support junior draftsmen, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare detailed architectural and engineering drawings using CAD software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Review and modify existing drawings for accuracy and compliance with design standards.
- Ensure drawings reflect changes in project scope, materials, or construction methods.
- Conduct site visits to gather data and verify that project drawings align with construction requirements.
- Mentor junior draftsmen, providing guidance and support in best practices and technical skills.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated project design and documentation.
- Maintain organized records of drawings and project documentation.
