Senior Data Warehouse & Analytics Consultant

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Warehouse & Analytics Consultant with extensive experience in data warehousing, data analytics, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing data solutions that drive business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Warehouse Design & Management: Lead the design, implementation, and management of data warehouses, ensuring data integrity, quality, and security.
• ETL Processes: Develop and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure efficient data flow from various sources into the data warehouse.
• Data Analytics: Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
• Power BI Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize data and provide actionable insights.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize data warehouse performance and troubleshoot any issues to ensure smooth operation.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data warehouse architecture, ETL processes, and analytics solutions.
• Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users on data analytics tools and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in data warehousing, data analytics, and Power BI.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, ETL tools, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts. Strong expertise in Power BI for data visualization.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
• Project Management: Proven experience in managing large-scale data projects from inception to completion.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in data warehousing, data analytics, and Power BI are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of big data technologies and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Familiarity with other BI tools like Tableau or QlikView.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior data professionals.
