Description
Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of revenue cycle management (RCM) software and related IT systems.Ensure integration and interoperability of RCM systems with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and other hospital IT systems.Conduct detailed analysis of revenue cycle data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to billing, claims, denials, and collections.Provide actionable insights to finance and operations teams to enhance revenue cycle performance.Work with clinical and administrative staff to design and implement workflows that enhance efficiency and reduce errors.Implement best practices for data management and security within the revenue cycle.Ensure revenue cycle processes comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other federal, state, and local laws.Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive patient and financial data.Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and identify potential risks.Train staff on the use of RCM systems and ensure adherence to best practices.Provide ongoing technical support and user assistance for revenue cycle software.Develop training materials and documentation to aid in the education of end-users.
Profile
A successful candidate should have:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Proficiency in RCM software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau) preferred.Proven experience with RCM systems, EHR integration, and data analytics.Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives and manage complex IT projects.
