QUALIFICATIONS

  • Legal degree with top academic credentials from an accredited and recognized university 
  • 6+ years’ experience of contracts work preferably with an international law firm or in-house legal department of a multi-national corporation, etc.
  • Excellent spoken, writing and negotiating skills in Arabic and English
  • Structured communication and working style, attention to details
  • Confident team player who is collaborative and flexible, but also able to work autonomously
  • Enjoys working in a challenging, fast-paced, dynamic professional services firm

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

We are seeking an Arabic and English speaking lawyer to work in the legal department through our East Europe, Middle East & Africa team in reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contractual arrangements. You will be responsible for handling the preparation, review, drafting, and negotiating of commercial contracts under the supervision and guidance of the department's attorneys and/or individually.
You will be based in our Riyadh office.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

In this role, you will encompass a range of responsibilities including preparing, reviewing and negotiating standard commercial contracts (e.g., service agreements, confidentiality agreements, and indemnity agreements) in both Arabic and English.  
You will provide legal review of RFPs and prepare the necessary documents in response to the RFP and arranging internally with different departments within the firm. You will also proofread commercial contracts to ensure that material is clear, consistent and complete.
You will be responsible for maintaining standard form contracts and related documents in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, working with more senior attorneys both in KSA and abroad on projects in support of the firm’s initiatives and in higher level matters, as needed.
In addition, you will be staying up-to-date and keeping senior attorneys advised on the latest developments in regards to the KSA regulations (specifically corporate and procurement regulations), general legal issues and best practices and advising teams on internal policies and compliance procedures.
