Located in the northwest of Saudi Arabia in the region of Tabuk just 50km from the coast, TROJENA will be a destination like no other on earth. Based upon the principles of eco-tourism facilities will include a folded vertical village, a lake with water sports and event facilities, high altitude ski village, observatory, world leading health and wellbeing facilities and a nature reserve which will be home to unique wildlife, heritage sites and exploration opportunities.

The Senior Construction Managers provides oversight and direction to the Construction Managers and Construction field personnel assigned to planning and execution for on-site construction projects. In this role, you will lead a team and provide proper interfaces with project control teams, design and construction engineers, field superintendents, and contractor craft professionals on a project. You will direct Gateway activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development. Your oversight will ensure contract craft professionals have the proper preliminary facilities, temporary works programs, and tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules and budgets. 

• Provides onsite coordination overview of lifting and Temporary Work operations.
• Ensures your teams are checking the most current design document are used to complete the works and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation. 
• Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors’ performance follow specifications and within schedules and budgets.  
• Works with Construction Field Engineering leads, Contractor Field Engineers, and Craft Supervision, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents. Provides overview to allow coordination back to the design Teams.
• Manages engineering solutions with Contractors, Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.  
• Ensure the Temporary Works processes and procedures are followed and correctly implemented for all contract clusters. Monitors and reports on overall project compliance with these requirements.
• Ensue the temporary works assets such as haul roads, formworks, scaffolding, and temporary bridges are designed, constructed and maintained per approved design in addition to meeting the client requirements.
• Manage the interfaces between Contractors and disciplines to meet delivery schedules and milestones.
• Keep the Senior Project Manager apprised of any change in contractor’s activity or cost prior to incurring additional time or materials outside of the project scope.
• Plan and review the construction project and contractors’ submittals with the Project Manager and supervise all site works on site
• Reviews and coordinates the contractor’s method statement, risk assessment temporary works, general logistics etc. and the preparation of weekly progress report and keep them properly updated; and drive the project to meet the required dates.

• A recognized bachelor's degree in an engineering or construction discipline
• Minimum 20 years’ experience in construction projects, preferably in large scale accommodation facility construction projects in remote locations.  
   

• Has proven experience and thorough knowledge in construction of large-scale projects, preferably from a Project Management Consultant perspective, or in a senior role as a Contractor
• Have a good understanding of project database management systems such as Aconex and BIM 360.
• Self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and exercise professional judgment, with a passion to take ownership of projects and provide sound technical leadership to contractor’s staff and field engineers.
• Experience in Worker Welfare standards and maintaining required levels of standard set by Client and governing law.
• Experience in managing a portfolio of concurrent projects of significant value
• Preferred experience in Major construction works of facilities for recreational, hospitality or sporting purposes – e.g., High end residential, hotels complexes, Stadium, or multi-purpose sports facilities.
• High grade architecturally significant projects for public occupancy (such as airports, transport hubs, hotel complexes or large residential or office complexes).
• Experience in mobilizing and managing multiple locations at any one time.
• Experience in managing the installation of accommodation facilities, batch plants and laydown areas.
• Experience in KSA / Middle east / GCC is preferred.
• Experience working in steep mountainous environments.
• Experience in providing Traffic Management plans and working through just in time logistical deliveries to onsite Crane Hooks with limited laydown at point of erection.
