Senior Construction Manager

Title:

The project is a major mixed-use development aiming to be a global landmark recognized for its unique vision and position as an authentic destination in Riyadh. The community will be a distinct, self-sustaining hub for Riyadh offering several iconic assets.  KBR will provide Project Management Consultancy services in project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and implementation of the development and early works packages.

THE ROLE

• Oversees the outputs of the Construction Supervision Consultant (CSC) for the Site Wide Temporary Building contract.
• Co-ordinates and consults with the Client Delivery Team regarding the management of the SWTB.
• Supports the Project Logistics Director for construction logistics activities on site.
• Deputises for the Project Logistics Director during periods of absence.
• Author of the Site Wide Temporary Buildings Execution Plan.
• Ensure the SWTB Contractors’ Construction and logistics management plans are in line with the requirements of the Project.
• Chairs the SWTB progress and pulse meetings, gives direction to the CSC ensuring outstanding actions are closed out by the Contractor via the CSC.
• Reviews CSC outputs and approves management information and reports before submission to the Client.
• Holds regular meetings with the CSC regarding resource and equipment mobilisation. Follows up with CSC to ensure the Contractor is correctly resourced and always equipped to deliver the SWTB contract.
• Liaises with the Project Planning Team to ensure any changes to the Programme schedule are carefully managed in respect to managing the SWTB contract.

• Experienced managing Consultants and Contractors on the construction of temporary buildings ie site offices, temporary structures.  

• User of MS Office, PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English language both written and spoken.
