JOB PURPOSE
Responsible Engineering to design, develop and construct a huge range of projects of the
physically and naturally built environment from conception through to completion. Work in a fast-

JOB DUTIES
Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale
construction EPC projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
Conduct on site investigations and analyse data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
Assess potential risks, materials and costs
Prepare material requisitions
Review and approve NMR vendor drawings
Update IFC drawings based on vendor drawings
Perform As built redline markups for final drawings
Prepare and issue technical queries to client and designer
Shall be responsible for collecting all inputs to carry out the design activities that are under
his area of work.
Must be capable of reading the technical specification and able to identify the different
clauses related to Structures and Foundation Design.
Review and ensure optimum design before submission to the client.
Ensure quantity control & optimization of civil & structural quantities
Interact with project execution team / vendors for resolving the problem.
Prepare BOQ and design documents which are required at the Pre-Tender stage.
Prepare Bar bending schedules
Validate the Construction design package provided by Client/Consultant, prepare design
validation report and perform design verification
Post award of Job Submission and get approval for all design related documents from the
Client.
Perform FEED Verification/Validation of assigned projects
Manage GES/GES+ Contractor for development of Civil/Structural Detail design packages
for LSTK/LSPB Projects
Perform detail design review at 60%, 90% and IFC stages of projects
Perform/ Review structural design calculations for concrete and steel structures as required
by the project during engineering and construction phases
Supervises Discipline Engineers & CAD personnel
Ensure necessary coordination and interface with all other applicable disciplines, in order to
ensure that all of the discipline work is properly integrated with the other disciplines.
Follow the ethics of confidentiality on technologies licensed by Client or Third Party.
Participate in various studies, design reviews, workshops
Assist in site support, as required.
Coordinate the work with other contractors and ensure timely deliverables
Contributes to the development of a knowledge database, capturing lessons learnt, events
and experiences and writing technical notes.
Participate in bid proposal activities when required.
Assume other duties as may be required by the company from time to time.

Creating engineering guidelines, checklists, datasheets, standards, calculation templates
(or spreadsheets) as required
Assist when required in interviewing prospective new personnel, both staff and agency.
Assist when required in preparation of proposals and in presentations to prospective clients.
Requirements:
Candidate only from oil and gas industry and must have pipeline experience.
Senior Engineer has overall responsibility and accountability of the discipline related project
work.
General
Carry out other similar duties that can be defined within the broad functional job and
functional responsibilities outlined above and as instructed by the immediate manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
Minimum 10 to 15 years in engineering consultancy or EPC company
Site construction and commissioning experience is an advantage
Proven working experience in Civil/Structural engineering
Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as STAAD, AutoCAD, Civil
3D or similar
Knowledge of Saudi Aramco and other international standards for design and construction
Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, regulatory approvals etc
Project management and supervision skills
