10+ years of experience with web and services administration. Proven expertise in Citrix administration and managing large Citrix infrastructures and server farms.
Job Description:
The Senior Citrix System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and managing Citrix environments, designing infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing support across multiple Citrix solutions. The role requires in-depth knowledge of Citrix systems and solutions, Windows server administration, and strong analytical and communication skills. The administrator will collaborate with teams to implement system changes and provide training to users.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage Citrix applications, ensuring smooth operation of Citrix environments.
- Install, update, and manage XenApp farms and Citrix environments.
- Design and plan Citrix Virtual Apps (CVA) environments, providing innovative infrastructure solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Citrix applications.
- Install and optimize Microsoft Windows server environments, managing and maintaining Windows systems.
- Supervise Citrix server farms, ensuring performance and system stability.
- Analyze network and system performance, identifying and resolving issues using Citrix Virtualization and other tools.
- Provide user training and business support for Citrix applications and solutions.
- Coordinate, implement, and communicate system changes to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Support cloud gateway, App-V, AppSense, and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address performance issues and improve system efficiency.
Skills:
Expertise in Citrix Solutions: Skilled in managing Citrix systems, including applications like XenApp, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and Cloud Gateway.
Windows Server Administration: Strong knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems and environments.
Troubleshooting: Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot large Citrix infrastructures, networks, and system performance issues.
Network Expertise: Experience with computer networks, particularly in large Citrix infrastructures and server farms.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate system changes, technical issues, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Ability to assess system performance, analyze errors, and provide innovative solutions.

Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA)
