Job Description & Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI, SQL, SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services), Microsoft Power Platform, and data modeling, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities. This role requires a professional who can work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, model, and visualize data, helping drive strategic decisions for the business.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
  • Perform data modeling and create data architectures to support reporting needs.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from databases.
  • Utilize SSAS for advanced data analysis, cube creation, and multidimensional data modeling.
  • Leverage Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) for business process automation and data integration.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets, identifying trends, patterns, and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and solve data-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI, SQL, SSAS, Power Platform, and data management best practices.

Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Power BI, SQL, SSAS, Microsoft Power Platform, and data modeling.
  • Proven experience in creating and managing Power BI dashboards and data visualizations.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience in writing complex queries and working with relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience with SSAS, including building cubes and multidimensional data models.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling techniques and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with large and complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
