Position Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned legal professional specializing in Corporate Law and International Law to join our esteemed law firm as a Senior Associate or Partner. The candidate will be instrumental in managing high-profile corporate transactions, cross-border legal matters, and advising multinational clients.
Responsibilities
Corporate Law:
- Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate restructuring, joint ventures, and corporate governance.
- Draft, negotiate, and review complex contracts, shareholder agreements, and transactional documents.
- Ensure compliance with local and international corporate laws and regulations.
International Law:
- Provide expert guidance on cross-border transactions, foreign investments, and international trade agreements.
- Represent clients in arbitration and litigation involving multinational parties.
- Advise on treaties, sanctions, and legal frameworks governing international business activities.
Client Relations:
- Build and manage long-term relationships with corporate and international clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and providing tailored legal solutions.
Dispute Resolution:
- Lead complex arbitration and mediation cases under international legal frameworks.
- Represent clients in courts and tribunals on matters related to corporate and international law.
Leadership and Mentorship:
- Supervise and mentor a team of associates and junior lawyers to ensure high-quality work.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to strategize and achieve the firm's goals.
Business Development:
- Identify new opportunities to expand the firm’s corporate and international law practice.
- Attend legal forums, industry conferences, and networking events to represent the firm.
Skills
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) required.
- Master’s degree (LLM) in Corporate Law, International Law, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8–15 years of experience in corporate and international law, with a reputable law firm.
- Proven track record of handling complex corporate transactions and cross-border legal matters.
- Licensing:
- Licensed to practice law in Saudi Arabia or eligible for licensing.
- Familiarity with international legal frameworks and treaties.
- Skills:
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
