Senior Associate – Credit Control
Job Description
Role Purpose To manage the portfolio of debtor accounts within the region and implement Credit Control polices on time to minimize bad debt provisions while performing credit risk assessment for new and existing customers, evaluating exceptional approvals, and providing recommendations to management.
Key Accountabilities
Risk & Controls Conduct credit check assessment on daily basis within assigned portfolio and highlighting/escalating all risky clients to the Regional line manager.
Monitor all type of exceptions and ensure policy premiums are settled on time.
Liaise with Collection/Sales teams to resolve all client’s allocation and reconciliation issues to have a clean aging debtor.
Policy & Procedures
Ensure corporate credit control policies are applied on time by assigning the right flags to all delinquent clients.
Propose adequate credit policy and procedures to close process gaps and mitigate any credit risk.
Credit Control SharePoint Platform
Attend to all CM Sales requests on time, and help Sales Team completing their tickets.
Contribute in enhance daily operation process which will increase efficiency.
Reporting
Prepare monthly credit control reports (Unpaid 1st Instalment/ Sensitive/IHP,…etc.)
Contribute in providing data/information to the Regional Credit Control Manager for regulatory reporting;
Participate in updating credit control scoring module data base.
Skills
Basic analytical and negotiation skills Excellent reporting skills Problem solving Excellent communication skills, English language. Advanced Microsoft skills (Mainly Excel & Power Point). Confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders.
