Senior Assistant Placement Executive


What does the role entail?


As a Senior Assistant Placement Executive, you will work with the Marsh teams in managing the clients’ insurance programs and enhance Marsh’s client service delivery.


  • Assist the placement executives with collecting and comparing quotes and providing appropriate recommendations to the client on the best quote from the insurance markets
  • reviewing client’s insurance policies to ensure accuracy of the documents against the final placed terms
  • Help maintain proper records and input the necessary information into the required databases to ensure the smooth continuation of the placement process
  • Ensures a basic technical understanding of the various lines of insurance and the placement process

We will count on you to:


  • Work with the placement colleagues and the client executives to retain renewals and secure new business placements.
  • Understand the client’s business and risk profile, products, developments, structure, financial position, politics, market position, and aspirations.
  • Determine the client’s risk management needs from the CEs including the client’s risk philosophy.
  • Work in coordination with the CEs, Credit Controller, and the Finance team to support the collection of clients' outstanding receivables.

What you need to have: 


  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
  • 5 – 10 years of experience in insurance sector Stint as an underwriter shall be a plus
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic language is a must
  • Possessing insurance technical qualifications is a plus
