Job Summary
This established position is for Raytheon Saudi Arabia (RTN SA) EHS professional. Administers EHS plans and procedures across multiple EHS specialties, including Health / Safety and Environmental / compliance. Analyzes RTN SA site facilities and employee practices for opportunities to apply EHS procedures to solve problems or improve EHS effectiveness.
This position is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
What You Will Do
Responsible for ensuring, at a minimum, company compliance with existing, and emerging EHS regulations. This requires the knowledge and technical expertise to develop and deploy EHS policies, systems, programs, and processes. The scope of this position may include all sites in Saudi Arabia. Technical knowledge of EHS processes and procedures and the ability to apply those processes and implement improvements. Basic application of methods and techniques for hazard identification, hazard evaluation, risk assessment and control. Conducts regulatory review and impact analysis for RTN SA site and work scope. Conducts full site inspections and participates in compliance audits. Collects, manages, and maintains data records. Compiles/ prepares reports and permit applications; analyzes for trends. Contributes to EHS committees. Develops and manages a local annual training plan, to include documentation and record keeping based on an assessment of requirements. Contributes to RTN SA training program development and conducts EHS training events. Assists with written and spoken internal and external communication. May help prepare reports, respond to surveys, develop, and maintain documents, and contribute to collaboration websites. Participate in process and information management mapping. Help investigate and resolve problems with process, tools, and applications. Administers the registration of employees’ work injury in the General Organization and Social Insurance (GOSI) system.
Travel Requirements
Ability to provide support as needed by traveling to company work locations around the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically, this position requires a bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required. 30hr + of Certified Health and Safety training (Please include copy of Certificate) Fluent in English and Arabic Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong Interpersonal Skills Knowledge of Local Laws, Customs, and Civil Defense Regulations High professional and ethical standards and be accountable for quality of all work products.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience isolating problems and initiating results in a timely manner. Experience generating deliverable documents, planning activities including developing and performing presentations to the customer. Experience working independently within a broad scope of authority and with minimal supervision. Emergency Management Response Planning Understanding of the logistics process in providing field support. Ability to research complex customer problems and provide technical, process and / or training resources, including networking, database management, and software requirements.
