Job Description

The Senior Accountant, Tax position is a pivotal role within our organization, focusing on managing tax compliance and financial reporting. This role is ideal for experienced accountants who have a strong background in tax regulations and accounting principles. The Senior Accountant will ensure that all tax obligations are met while optimizing the tax position of the company. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and file accurate tax returns in compliance with local and international tax laws.
  2. Conduct thorough tax research to identify tax-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with changing regulations.
  3. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to provide tax-related guidance and support for various projects.
  5. Monitor and analyze tax legislation changes and assess their impact on the organization.
  6. Manage tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
  7. Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
  8. Provide training and support to junior accounting staff on tax-related matters.
