Senior 3D Designer specializing in creating and developing visual and
three-dimensional elements for events, focusing on innovative and captivating designs
that enhance audience experiences and meet client objectives.
KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES
EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE:
Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop 3D design
concepts that align with the project or proposal theme, objectives, and
branding.
Create physical mood boards, sketches, technical plans, and renders to
communicate the design ideas.
Understand and apply engineering, product design, and architectural
principles to ensure structural integrity and safety in 3D designs.
Work with engineers, architects, and production to translate creative
ideas into feasible designs and ensure designs are visually appealing,
functional, and safe.
Produce high-quality 3D photo-realistic renders and animations of event
structures, stages, exhibition booths, installations, and other physical
elements to help stakeholders, clients, the production team, etc. to understand
the visual concept and aesthetics of the design.
Present design concepts and progress updates to clients, event
organizers, and other stakeholders.
Incorporate feedback and make necessary adjustments to the design.
Research and select appropriate materials for construction and
manufacturing, considering factors like durability, budget constraints, and
sustainability.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors, etc. to source materials and
component samples to be coded and added to the department library.
Stay up to date on industry trends and the latest Art and design trends
in on-ground events, festivals, entertainment, and cultural experiences.
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
Bachelor’s degree in 3D Design, Architecture, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in 3D design, preferably in the
events industry. Proficiency in 3D design and rendering software.
Strong time management skills and the ability to
work under pressure.
