Responsible for the overall supervision of security related matters at the company’s projects, mine sites, plants and other facilities. Supervise all security investigations, inspections, planning and administration matters.

Responsible for all security protection operations at all company’s projects, mine sites, plants and other facilities, including regular reviews and updates
As per set KPI’s of the function.
Review all site visit requests for company’s facilities in terms of compliance with all security regulations stated by company policies and other directive instructions from governmental bodies
Reviewed and stipulated in reports.
Make suggestions for improvements in the security system and procedures in order to raise the level of security and plug any security gaps or loopholes.

Plan, organize and schedule the deployment of security staff to ensure adequate security coverage; train; motivate and develop security staff in the use of new and improved security procedures equipment and systems.

Formulate revisions to the security programs whenever required, to deal with changes in project facilities, and directions from the higher commission of industrial security (HCIS).
Supervise and review yearly industrial security plan for all company’s facilities.

Performance Indicators
Act on behalf of the Manager, Industrial Security in receiving day to day security reports, weekly reports, monthly reports and security incident reports. Evaluate all reports, provide necessary advisory instructions and follow-up on the implementation of recommended corrective actions.
Treated as per pre-described format and procedure i.e., as confidential.
Done according to set standards.
Informed at all times
Summarized and tabled for discussion.
Implemented as per the set program.
As per set KPI’s.
5. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Daily contacts within the Company are at all levels to coordinate and carry out the ISS activities.
External: Outside the Company contacts may be up to senior manager level with police, HCIS Civil Defense and other government agencies to confer and expedite the Company’s business.
6. Job relevant information (BOUNDARIES & DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY):
Note: Installation force provides security outside the plant premises including the pipeline.
Plant Security provides security inside the plant boundaries
Decisions:Takes decisions on security procedures including changes for improvement.
All supervisory decisions relating to management of security staff e.g., allocation of work, grant of leave, training etc.
7. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Qualification:
Technical vocational certificate/diploma or associate degree in relevant field
Experience:
8 years’ experience in industrial security with mining or petrochemical company.
Skills:
Persuading and influencing skills
