Job Purpose

Responsible for the design, implementation and management of digital infrastructure and systems to support Phosphate BU adapt to the digital era by implementing and optimizing digital processes, technologies, and strategies. Focus is on enhancing efficiency, improving customer experiences, and driving innovation through digital transformation.



Key Accountabilities



System Coverage:


Includes but not limit to the following existing and future systems: Operations Business Intelligence (BI) Application Systems, Advanced Analytics (AA) Systems, Asset Management Systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI),   Historian Systems, Decision Support Systems (DSS), Advanced Process Control (APC) Systems, Operations Data Warehouse Systems, , Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) Systems, Robotics / Drones application systems, etc


Phosphate BU Infrastructure


  • Perform project initiation (Technical Study, Design, Scope of Work, technical evaluation, etc.) of Digitalization related systems in Phosphate BU.
  • Perform project implementation (Mgt. of Change, Project Planning, construction, testing and commissioning of Digitalization related Initiatives in Phosphate BU.

Phosphate BU OT Applications and Cybersecurity Support


Supports Digitalization related OT initiatives and activities.


Corporate IT, T&I, Data Management & Cybersecurity Interface


Work closely with Corporate Technology and Innovation  (T&I), Corporate Data Management,  ICT-SS, Ma’aden Transformation Program and Cybersecurity to develop and execute Digitalization strategies.


Periodic Reports:


Prepare periodic reports reflecting status and plans relating to Phosphate BU Digitalization initiatives and systems.


Technology Update:


Keep abreast of recent developments related to Digitalization, IT and  Operational Technology.


Safety, Quality & Environment:


As applicable, ensure that all aspects pertaining to environment, health, safety, and energy efficiency are taken into consideration in the performance of duties.



Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies



Minimum Qualifications:


  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation or Engineering or equivalent

Minimum Experience:


  • At least 7 years in Digitalization, IT or OT Systems design, projects implementation and administration.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, automation, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.
  • Proficiency in project management and change management methodologies.
  • Proven experience in digital transformation, process optimization, or related roles.
