We are looking for a Scrum Master to bring structure, efficiency, and innovation to our diverse portfolio of projects.
Role Overview:
The Scrum Master will be responsible for implementing and managing Scrum methodology across multiple projects, both technical and non-technical. This role is pivotal in fostering collaboration, ensuring timely delivery, and facilitating continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be adept at adapting agile practices to diverse project environments and ensuring teams are motivated, productive, and aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Scrum Framework Implementation:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach team members on Agile principles and Scrum practices tailored for both tech and non-tech projects.
2. Project Management:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize backlogs and define clear deliverables.
- Monitor progress and address impediments to ensure projects stay on track.
- Utilize project management tools for tracking and reporting.
3. Team Facilitation:
- Act as a servant-leader for project teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Promote accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within teams.
- Encourage innovation and creative problem-solving.
4. Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between teams, management, and stakeholders to align expectations and deliverables.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and achievements.
5. Adaptation to Non-Tech Projects:
- Develop customized approaches for applying Scrum to operational, administrative, and educational projects.
- Ensure alignment of agile practices with organizational objectives in non-technical settings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, Education, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Proven experience managing tech and non-tech projects using Scrum methodology.
- Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt Scrum practices to diverse project types.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Teams).
- Familiarity with the education sector is a plus.
