About the role:

This position is essential in ensuring that students are physically and mentally prepared to learn, providing immediate care for injuries and illnesses, and promoting a healthy school culture. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate approach and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed.
  • Conduct health assessments and screenings for students, including vision and hearing tests.
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation for each student.
  • Administer medications and manage chronic health conditions in students.
  • Educate students and staff on health-related topics, including nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to address health concerns and promote student wellness.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and school policies.
  • Act as a liaison between the school and local health services.
  • Participate in school events and health fairs to promote health awareness.

Preferred Candidate:

  • Experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Knowledge of health education and promotion strategies.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English.
