Job Description: Scheduling and Controls Integration Lead
Summary Role:
The Program's Planning, Scheduling, and Controls Senior Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining the planning, scheduling, and control functions for a program or portfolio of projects. This role ensures that projects are executed efficiently and fully aligned with organizational goals and objectives. The lead collaborates with delivery agents, stakeholders, and team members to develop comprehensive plans, progress monitoring, and implement corrective actions as required.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
- Develop and maintain the program’s Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), using Primavera P6 EPPM.
- Develop and maintain project management tools and techniques using Oracle Unifier, Aconex and Microsoft Project; to create, update, and manage project details.
- Coordinate with delivery agents and interface team to identify project changes, and discuss schedule update analysis/insights, using visual tools and techniques to agree way forward.
- Develop and maintain resource loading to the IMS listed project’s delivery stages, using relevant weightage distribution approach, according to each project type/volume.
- Establish and maintain program performance management using earned value management (EVM), to assess project health and performance assessment.
- Identify and assess arises risks and/or issues resulted from IMS regular schedule update analysis, highlighting risk/issue impact, suggest mitigation measures, update risk/issue register and follow-up with risk/issue owner to ensure timely closure of each risk/issue item.
Progress Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Assessment of received updates/changes data from delivery agents to ensure the data integrity before implementing them in IMS regular updates.
- Update master projects list (MPL) based on latest received, reviewed and assessed data.
- Monitor IMS progress and performance against baselines, identifying variances and potential issues.
- Prepare and present regular performance analysis reports, dashboards, and status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Conduct regular program reviews and performance assessments with delivery agents to ensure continuous alignment to strategic targets and program wide objectives.
- Facilitate collaborative meetings and workshops with delivery agents and relevant stakeholders to review program performance status, resolve misalignment issues.
