Job Description

Senior SAP FICO Consultant are responsible for the implementation & support of SAP S4 hana system, FICO consultant will ensure that the system are aligned with the organizational needs and financial process are automated.


Key Responsibilities:

1- Ability to architect solutions in the SAP Finance & Costing functions by seamlessly integrating with other modules like SAP PP SD, QM, APO and BW functions

2- Be able to analyze, design and configure SAP FI, SD and Purchasing solutions (R2R, O2C and P2P)

3- Provide knowledge and understanding of SAP FICO, SD and Purchasing concepts and process flows that they are able to both understand existing configuration and solutions and also design new solutions for new requirements

4- Play a key role in the project lifecycle, initial set-up of the project to the final delivery of the project, including blueprint preparation, solution design, configuration & solution testing in coordination with the Technical team.

5- Analyze requirements: prepare and participate in workshops with the finance team and prepare requirement documentation.

6- Configure the general ledger accounts, chart of accounts, and fiscal year variants.

7- Set up parallel ledgers if required for different accounting standards.

8- Configure vendor accounts, payment terms, and payment programs.

9- Implement automated payment processes and vendor reconciliation.

10-Configure customer accounts, dunning procedures, and payment methods.

11- Set up credit management and accounts receivable reporting.

12- Implement asset master data, asset classes, and depreciation areas.

13- Configure asset acquisition, transfer, and retirement processes.

14- Set up house banks, bank accounts, and electronic bank statement processing.

15- Develop and configure financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements, Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. 16-Validate the finance & costing reports if any concerns are raised by the finance & cost team.

17- Configure cost centers, cost elements, cost allocation methods, internal order and track cost and budgets.

18-Manage internal orders for tracking project-related costs and expenditures. Configure order types and settlement rules.
