Role - SAP ABAP Principal Consultant

• 15+ years of expertise to lead and deliver technical solutions for our SAP projects
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of SAP ABAP technical solutions, including RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with business requirements.
• Mastery of ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP), enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, and SmartForms.
• Proficiency in advanced technologies such as CDS Views, OData services, SAP Gateway, and Fiori integration.
• Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of SAP programs.
• SAP ABAP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology is an advantage.

• Design, code, and test SAP ABAP programs and applications.
• Provide thought leadership on technical best practices, SAP standards, and emerging trends in SAP development.
• Create and modify SAP scripts, forms, and reports (SAPscript, SmartForms, Adobe Forms).
• Develop custom enhancements using ABAP, such as user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, and enhancements spots.
• Develop interfaces using ALE, IDOCs, RFC, and other integration technologies.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Create detailed technical design documents for new developments and enhancements.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing SAP applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the SAP environment.
• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with SAP coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct unit testing and support integration testing activities.
• Debug ABAP programs to identify and fix defects.
• Optimize ABAP code for performance improvements.
• Analyze system performance issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Work closely with SAP functional teams, project managers, and business users
• Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with others.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
