Working as a Sales Manager involves leading the sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets through effective market penetration and customer engagement.
Key AccountabilitiesThe position involves:
- Formulate and implement sales strategies to achieve growth and revenue targets within the industrial sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets, including key accounts and potential leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team, setting performance goals and providing coaching to improve sales performance.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
- Prepare regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, performance reviews, and pipeline status updates for senior management.
- Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the company while meeting client requirements.
- Work closely with marketing, production, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of sales plans and customer satisfaction.
Knowledge, Skills, and ExperienceWe are looking for:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- In-depth knowledge of the industrial sector, including trends, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.
