DMGT Manages a diverse, multinational portfolio of companies with total revenues of £2bn, that provide businesses and consumers with compelling information, analysis, insight, events, news and entertainment.Job Purpose: The primary function of this role is to drive revenues through exhibition stands, sponsorship, and branding opportunities for well-established brands.Job responsibilities:To be fully responsible for the revenue generation of the exhibition stands and sponsorship packages to achieve agreed sales targets for your eventSell exhibition space and sponsorships in accordance with set targets to ensure the revenue budget is achievedWorking with the Event Director to support the management of a network of overseas sales agents who sell exhibition stands and sponsorship and to achieve the agreed sales targetTo seek out, consider and evaluate new business opportunitiesMonitor sales figures and reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to enable senior management to be updated on the progress of the show and sponsorshipsProvide the Event Director with weekly report detailing activities and forecastRegularly and frequently review and monitor competitive publications/exhibitions and identify new leads to ensure that sales opportunities are developed and maximizedMaintain regular contact and visit existing and potential clients to ensure current and new business is developedDevelop relations with current/new associations and organizations to maintain/gain support in relevant industriesVisit exhibitions and other events in order to contact current clients and develop relations with potential clientsIdentify and develop new business opportunities by organic growth/new product development in order that the revenue is maximizedEstablish substantial relationships throughout the marketplace in order to become aware of new business/acquisition opportunitiesTogether with the Event Director and Marketing Manager, assist in developing a marketing strategy to generate maximum exhibitor participation, visitor and exhibitor attendance figuresTo work closely with the accounts department in collections due for exhibitor sales.Qualifications:Min 3-4 years of B2B sales management and account handling experiencePrevious relevant experience in the events/exhibitions industry is a plusFamiliarity in selling construction products/services is a plusExperience in the Middle East market is a mustArabic speaker is a mustAbility to communicate effectively and efficiently with a wide variety of clients and partners across multiple mediums, including; phone, email, and face-to-face meetingsHighly motivated, ambitious, a desire to take ownership and responsibility to ensure the best outcomeAbility to work towards KPIs, using them as a motivational tool to hit and exceed targetsAdaptable and collaborative nature, working with colleagues across the team 'Please take the time to read the job description, you must meet all the criteria set out above for your application to be considered.
