Job Description
Turmer Trading Company, a leading distributor of perfumes, cosmetics, electronics and food in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead and oversee the sales department. This key leadership role involves managing diverse sales channels, including general trading customers, modern trade, HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafés), online platforms, and convenience stores.
The Sales Manager will develop and implement strategic sales plans, drive revenue growth, and ensure excellent customer satisfaction across all segments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company goals.
- Identify growth opportunities across various customer segments and channels.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies.
Team Leadership and Management
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
- Build a high-performing team culture centered on results and customer satisfaction.
Sales Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations of the sales department to ensure efficiency.
- Manage relationships with general trading customers, modern trade partners, HoReCa clients, and online platforms.
- Drive sales through effective account management and customer engagement.
Budgeting and Reporting
- Prepare and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
- Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to address shortfalls.
- Provide detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to senior management.
Customer Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and effectively.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand market share.
Market Development
- Explore and penetrate new sales channels and markets.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to launch promotions and campaigns.
Skills
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in sales, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. Experience in FMCG or relevant industries (perfumes, cosmetics, electronics) is a plus.
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia’s market dynamics and customer segments.
- Experience working with modern trade, HoReCa, online platforms, and convenience stores.
Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Languages: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
