Using drawing standards set by the Design Manager as
guidelines.
Ensuring sound understanding of the client's requirements.
Undertaking feasibility studies, site surveys, and
estimations.
Preparing contract documents and tenders.
Drafting cutting-edge designs of (1) walls and flooring, (2)
playgrounds and sports, and (3) furniture that reflects the Company's image and
upholds its standards.
Working directly with the project management and Design
Manager and sales department to develop drawings and bills of material from
sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images.
Developing drafts based on clients, Companies, and Vendor
drawings or specifications.
To analyze these drawings and ensure the cost of the
completion as per the design is well within the allocated budget.
To calculate the quantity and quality of material used along
with the accurate work or labour cost.
Based upon the above calculations come up with accurate cost
results.
To keep track of any variations to the contract that may
affect costs and create reports to show profitability.
Ensure the Allocated subcontractors are working within the
cost and closely monitor them to ensure the working hours are as per plan.
During the whole execution of the project to ensure the cost
is well within the planned cost and the budget.
While deriving the cost to Identifying commercial risks and
developing appropriate responses.
Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within
budget.
Analyzing project outcomes and creating detailed financial
reports.
Maximizing potential project income always.
In liaison with other departments within the company to
ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are
error-free.
Utilizing the drafting resources to create new tools to
efficiently carry out above mentioned tasks.
Checking/Preparing shop drawings in Auto CAD for furniture
and fit-out works.
Performs other related duties assigned by the line manager.
