Job Description
Job Title : Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation & IIoT
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales plans to target key industries such as manufacturing, oil & gas, energy, automotive, etc.
- Identify and qualify potential customers, understanding their automation and IIoT needs.
- Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, maintaining a strong pipeline.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Provide technical expertise on industrial automation systems, IIoT platforms, sensors, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and related technologies.
- Understand customer requirements, propose tailored solutions, and prepare technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deliver customized automation and IIoT solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in industrial automation, IIoT, and smart manufacturing.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, activity reports, and project status updates to senior management.
- Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, and events to promote products and network with potential clients.
