The Sales Engineer is responsible for the growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.
This position is part of the Commercials Direct Sales Team and as we envision a future where our innovation connects, empowers and emboldens humanity to be its best.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Prepare projections in line with the requirements of the business plan and develop/implement a sales plan to achieve projections and forecasts.
Achieve assigned quarterly sales and profit objectives.
Distributor and agent management and development and Identify key customers/market opportunities for business growth.
Work with salespeople and distributors to develop and implement individual projects sales action plans and establish/maintain key customer relationships (identifying, progressing, and closing sales opportunities).
Assist with preparation of quotations & projects management or supply agreements and provide feedback for development of new products, applications, and alliances.
Provide inputs for the global / regional long term and strategic plans.
Monitor receivables with credit management team and ensure implementation of risk assessment procedure when appropriate.
Apply Projects Standard Work, create and manage opportunities through Sales Force, communicate and present opportunities to other team members and departments.
The essential requirements of the job include:
5 to 8 years’ experience in providing equipment to Oil & Gas, Power or Refinery industries project and communications networking.
Ideally experienced with a filtration and separations company project & products within KSA.
Required project management, fabrication & execution experience in Oil & Gas.
Oil & Gas sales/ direct customer (end user / Contractors) communications experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills with experience of or ability to coordinate teams & Fluent in both Arabic and English languages is essential & Must have a cultural understanding of the Saudi Market/Zone.
Own the customer relationships and grow our network in Saudi Arabia with EPC contractors by new lead generation and build a winning Strategy plan and Manage the day-to-day actions both with customers and internally.
Significant knowledge of the industry and customer environment.
Experience in ME business and sales action planning, understanding of the ME area in projects Oil & Gas, Refinery and Petrochemical.
Degree in process or chemical or mechanical engineering.
Based in Saudi or willing to relocate, with a Valid Passport, Driving license and transferable work permit.
