Job Description

Job Title: Safety Officer

Location: Saudi Arabia

Experience: 4-5 Years

Salary: Depends upon experience

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement and enforce workplace safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and corrective action plans.
  • Ensure all workers are equipped with proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain safety documentation, including risk assessments, audits, and compliance reports.
  • Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and employees to promote a culture of safety.
  • Conduct emergency response drills and ensure all personnel are aware of evacuation procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with local and international safety standards such as OSHA, NEBOSH, and ISO 45001.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure workplace safety regulations are met.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification is mandatory.
Skills Required:
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
  • Excellent report-writing and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to enforce safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in using safety management software and tools.
  • Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and enforce compliance.
