Develop and implement safety policies and procedures on construction sites
· Conduct safety audits and regular inspections of work areas, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies and implement preventive and corrective measures
Conduct safety training sessions for construction staff and workers
Conduct safety drills to assess the readiness of the construction team in case of an emergency or disasters.
Investigate any incidents, accidents and near-misses to determine the root causes and develop and implement corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.
Develop and implement safety emergency response plans and procedures to handle any potential incidents, emergencies or disasters.
Prepare and present safety reports to management
Skills
Bachelor Degree in Safety Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Any Discipline)
OSHA 30Hrs. Construction
Proven experience as a Safety Engineer or similar role in the Construction Safety.
Thorough knowledge of HSE regulations and industry practices.
Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
In-depth knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
Deep understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and risk management.
