Job Description

Job Title: Rigging Manager

Location: Saudi Arabia

Experience: 5-10 Years

Salary: Depends upon experience

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all rigging activities at construction and industrial sites.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, lifting procedures, and industry standards.
  • Plan and supervise heavy lifting operations, including cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper load calculations for safe lifting.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, safety officers, and crane operators for efficient operations.
  • Train and mentor rigging crews on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Inspect and maintain rigging equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
  • Develop and enforce site-specific rigging and lifting plans.
  • Troubleshoot rigging-related issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Prepare reports on rigging activities, incidents, and equipment maintenance.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in rigging and lifting operations, preferably in the oil & gas, construction, or heavy industries.
  • Certification in Rigging & Lifting (CIC, LEEA, or equivalent).
Skills Required:
  • Strong knowledge of rigging, lifting plans, and heavy equipment operations.
  • Proficiency in load calculations and risk assessment.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, LEEA, API, and other industry safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
