Job Title: Restaurant Maintenance Technician
Location: Saudi 
Work Hours: 12 Hours per Day
Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of restaurant facilities by maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various systems and equipment. This role requires expertise in fixing machinery, including HVAC (Air Conditioning), home appliances, plumbing, heating, electrical wiring, and other restaurant-related equipment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen appliances, and electrical wiring.
  • Troubleshoot and repair restaurant machinery, including ovens, dishwashers, fryers, grills, exhaust fans, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Handle plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, replacing pipes, and ensuring proper drainage systems in restrooms and kitchens.
  • Repair and maintain electrical wiring, outlets, light fixtures, circuit breakers, and power distribution panels.
  • Conduct heating system maintenance, ensuring the proper functioning of boilers, heaters, and water systems.
  • Respond quickly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and ensure smooth restaurant operations.
  • Keep records of maintenance work, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including fire safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with management and staff regarding maintenance issues and required repairs.
  • Maintain an inventory of essential tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
  • Supervise third-party vendors for specialized maintenance and repair services when required.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma in electrical, mechanical, or HVAC maintenance is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in restaurant or facility maintenance.
  • Proven expertise in HVAC systems, kitchen equipment repair, plumbing, electrical wiring, and general maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance work.
  • Physical stamina to work long hours, lift heavy equipment, and perform tasks in various conditions.
Skills Required:
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, home appliances, restaurant machinery, electrical wiring, and plumbing.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair various mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
  • Ensuring all maintenance work meets high standards and safety regulations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff and report work progress effectively.
