Job Description

The Reliability Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of equipment within the chemical manufacturing sector. This position is pivotal in identifying potential failures and implementing strategies to mitigate risks, thereby enhancing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of reliability engineering principles and practices, along with a strong background in the chemical industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct reliability analyses to identify potential equipment failures and recommend improvements.
  2. Develop and implement maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and availability.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and reduce downtime.
  4. Utilize data analysis tools to monitor equipment performance and identify trends.
  5. Prepare and present reliability reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  6. Lead root cause analysis investigations for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  7. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all engineering practices.
  8. Participate in the development and execution of training programs for maintenance personnel.
  9. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
  10. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to reliability engineering.
