Job Description

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?A maintenance planner is to provides overall maintenance planning and scheduling support to include contract maintenance and the planning of repairs and overhauls during scheduled shutdowns by assigning the activities to a workforce, Provides support to storeroom operations and is responsible for the site’s preventive maintenance program. Serves as a primary resource for CMMS implementation and the maintenance of all related data bases. He/she ensures coordination and efficient communication to the operations and HSE team on daily basis, and both for preventive maintenance, corrective, and in emergency cases. He/she aims to achieve the highest degree of availability of the equipment. The accountabilities of this job must be accomplished in a manner which supports and promotes the Zero safety incidents goal and customer satisfaction. He/she ensures also the implementation of the environmental legislation, respect the good environmental practices and show a positive attitude with regard to the preservation of the environment.

1. Preventive planning


- Coordinates the Maintenance Work Order system through Maximo CMMS, processing of CMMS and provides overall work control to ensure the maximum utilization of internal craft labor and contractor labor


- coordinates with AL or external resources for execution of preventive interventions, respecting legal requirements and AL safety rules


- communicates specifics to Service suppliers and coordinates other internal resources when necessary


- ensures correct data transfer and closure of work orders in MAXIMO


- Develops job plans and standard repair practices during the planning process. Coordinates The entering of job plans to the CMMS and updating these standard job plans as required


- Responsible for coordinating the PM/PdM Review Team for review and updating of current PM/PdM procedures and the development of new PM/PdM inspection procedures and frequencies.


- Develops the planning times for PM inspection procedures and frequencies for revision and improvements and ensures PM/PdM database is accurately maintained.


-Coordinates development of Predictive Maintenance technology applications based upon results of assessment for predictive technologies application at the plant site.


- Ensures that the current PM/PdM procedures reflect the actual operating conditions


2. Corrective planning


- Reviews MAXIMO WORK ORDER to confirm priorities with operations and maintenance and to establish craft requirement.
- Reviews the drawings/prints, equipment and parts manuals as required to determine sequence of crafts, scope of work and job plans for major repairs. Utilizes the site’s priority system to support effective planning/scheduling of critical repairs
-Develop the labor estimates for planned work and establishes schedules based on confirmed priorities and craft labor availability. Coordinates with manufacturing operations to establish firm schedules for equipment availability prior to start of repair
- responds to technical problems, reported internally (GTIS, drivers, AL employees) and externally (customers, transporters, NOBO's) in a timely fashion
- assesses criticality of technical issues and plans accordingly, coordinating with needed resources, internal and external
- generates work orders with necessary information for the interventions and ensures needed equipment and spare parts are available
- communicates specific details of the intervention to stakeholders (customer, internal account manager, ..)
- checks executed actions and closes work order; in case of interventions outside contract, he contacts business support for invoicing and transfers necessary information


3. Optimization & Reliability


- ensures cohesion in the planning, plans intervention in a optimal way, combining preventive and corrective.
- adapts maintenance plans and execution dates when beneficial for costs, planning, ...
- takes into account overtime technicians and external factors (eg: traffic jams, long distances, ..)
- assigns work forces according to qualification and know-how
- Analyze maintenance data (overtime, cost of repair, frequent failures, spare parts consumptions, bad actors)
- Track and report maintenance KPIs
- Track and follow all reliability investigations, action items until it is closed
- Act as the focal point for L1, GT compliance, send status report and reminders


4. Organization


- works closely with the maintenance manager, all craft supervisors and manufacturing operations staff to support effective planning for shutdowns and special projects.
- Develops the overall master plan for maintenance-related activities and coordinates development of materials/parts requirements and requisitioning, estimates of craft labor, and plan for contract maintenance support as required
- prepares and participates together with Maintenance Manager toolboxes for feedback moments with technicians
- raises recurring problems to technical teams for long term solutions
- keeps track of maintenance budgets and investment plans
- participates in MOC's and efficiency projects
- ensures critical availability of AL technicians, taking into account holidays, sickness, workload, ...
- Prepare annual maintenance budget
- Focal point for annual procurement plan
- Act as focal point for PR/PO process


5. Onsite


- plans regular checks on onsites in accordance with maintenance plans
- checks reliability and efficiency of onsites
- reports shutdowns, planned and unplanned
- coordinates revamping, ensuring necessary shutdown procedures


6-Spare parts


Develops and coordinates the modernization of current stores area into an organized storeroom operation with an effective parts inventory management system, access control method, bin location system along with improved storage methods. Provides the support and coordinates the completion of a physical inventory of existing stock items and developing the initial parts database master file on a new Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS). Becomes the primary resource for ensuring that the parts database is maintained over the long-term with proper internal stock numbers, vendor part info, min/max stock levels, specifications, etc.
- Review and follow up the PR/PO of the service and spare parts with procurement team to ensure the reliability and required support in implemented
- Provides support to the maintenance manager for other maintenance initiatives such as craft skill development, operator-based maintenance or vendor partnership for MRO parts and materials

Knowledge and Knowhow specific to the job:


- Working understanding of procedures and regulatory for maintenance and business support operations
- Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance methodologies
- Technical understanding of gas physical and production processes
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures
- Strong knowledge in data analysis
- Strong knowledge in process optimization (simplifying and improving)
