The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing maintenance contracts for local Saudi power generation
companies. This role involves leading steam turbine and boiler maintenance teams, overseeing multiple projects, and
ensuring operational excellence while maintaining strong client relationships.
Tasks, Responsibilities and Accountability:
(a) Lead and manage steam turbine and boiler maintenance teams on power plants with capacity up to 2,800
MW’s.
(b) Lead operational discussions with senior client leadership at plant and regional level.
(c) Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure high service levels.
(d)
Address client concerns promptly and propose solutions to improve service delivery.
(e) Coordinate and negotiate with OEMs such as GE, Alstom, and Siemens to ensure proper maintenance
preparation and execution.
(f)
Ensure Project teams adherence to maintenance schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
(g)
Manage multiple Project Managers across various maintenance contracts.
(h)
Develop leadership skills within the team and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
(i)
Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure alignment with company objectives.
(j)
Identify and implement margin improvement initiatives to enhance financial performance.
(k)
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with HSE policies, regulations, and industry standards.
(l)
Promote a strong safety culture within the team and lead by example
Authority:
(a) Site Manager have authority/responsibility of final approval for timesheet, over time, leave application and
reimbursement claims etc. to the employees reported him such as follow below
(b) Operations Manager has authority over Project Managers, Site Managers, Project Co-coordinators, Site
Engineers, Office PRO, HSE Officer, Logistics and other project related employees

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (B.E ) or equivalent
(b) Experience
Min 10 Years’ and above experience in Operations and Project Management in boiler and steam turbine
maintenance delivery in Power and Utilities
Experience in client-facing roles, engaging with plant and regional management.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple Project Managers and large teams.
Commercial background with demonstrated success in delivering profitable projects and margin
improvements.

Client Relationship Management – Strong ability to liaise with key stakeholders and resolve operational
challenges.
Project & Financial Management – Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and improving profitability.
Technical Expertise – Strong understanding of power plant maintenance, specifically turbines and
boilers.
Safety & Compliance Awareness – Knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices in maintenance
operations.
Communication &; Negotiation Skills – Ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and
senior leadership.
Good understanding of maintenance competition in Saudi Arabia within the Power and Utilities market.
