Job Summary:

The R3 Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing on-site support and coordination for the successful execution of a large-scale oil and gas construction project. This role involves liaising between various project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, compliance with safety standards, and timely project delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination:


    • Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring that all project tasks are completed in line with project deadlines and scope.
    • Monitor daily activities, report progress, and identify any risks or delays, escalating issues to the project manager when necessary.
    • Coordinate logistics and mobilization of materials, equipment, and personnel to the site.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of site activities, ensuring that all records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry regulations and project standards.
  • Communication and Liaison:


    • Serve as the main point of contact for internal teams, contractors, and subcontractors on-site to ensure alignment with project goals.
    • Facilitate clear and effective communication between stakeholders, project teams, and external parties.
    • Prepare and distribute regular progress reports, meeting minutes, and status updates to key stakeholders.
  • Safety and Compliance:


    • Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and industry best practices on the construction site.
    • Monitor and ensure that the project complies with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
    • Support the project manager in conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies to address potential hazards or issues.
  • Resource Management:


    • Track and manage on-site resources, including materials, manpower, and equipment, ensuring efficient usage and minimizing waste.
    • Assist with the procurement process, ensuring that materials and services are delivered on time and to the required specifications.
  • Document and Cost Control:


    • Assist in managing project budgets, ensuring that costs are tracked and expenditures stay within budget.
    • Support the preparation and submission of project documentation, including invoices, time sheets, and progress reports.
    • Ensure that all contractual obligations are met and maintain accurate records of project deliverables.
  • Team Support:


    • Provide on-the-ground support to site managers, supervisors, and other staff as needed.
    • Contribute to team problem-solving and decision-making processes, ensuring that project objectives are consistently met.
Qualifications:
  • Education & Experience:


    • A degree or diploma in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
    • Experience in a project coordination or site management role within the oil and gas industry.
    • Previous experience on large-scale construction projects, preferably in oil, gas, or energy sectors.
  • Skills & Competencies:


    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Knowledge of HSE standards and the ability to enforce safety practices on-site.
    • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
