We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects to join our team for the prestigious Diriyah Gate Tunnel Construction MEP Fit-Out project. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the project’s financial and contractual aspects, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with project standards.
Responsibilities:

Cost Management: Prepare, monitor, and control budgets, cost estimates, and forecasts for MEP-related works.
- BOQ Preparation: Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on project requirements and design documentation.
- Tendering and Procurement: Support the procurement process by evaluating bids, negotiating terms, and preparing contract documents for MEP packages.
- Valuations: Conduct interim valuations, prepare payment applications, and ensure timely invoicing and payment follow-ups.
- Variation Analysis: Identify, assess, and document variations in MEP works, ensuring claims and adjustments are well-substantiated.
- Cost Reporting: Provide regular financial reports, including cost-to-complete forecasts and cash flow projections, to stakeholders.
- Coordination: Work closely with the project team, including engineers, planners, and contractors, to ensure alignment on cost and scope.
- Risk Management: Identify potential financial risks and suggest mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project budgets.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial and contractual activities adhere to local regulations, project specifications, and company policies.
Requirements:

Educational Background:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with at least 5 years in MEP projects.
- Previous experience in large-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in cost estimation, contract administration, and BOQ preparation.
- Advanced knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes.
- Familiarity with industry software such as AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and cost management tools.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- RICS, AIQS, or similar accreditation.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
